The News Enhancement Journalism Initiative for the Indigenous (NEJII) recently organized a training session for journalists in Abuja, focusing on effective coverage of Abuja Original Inhabitants (AOIs).

The training, which took place on October 27, 2025, brought together over 23 journalists from various media streams, including TV, online, and radio platforms.

The initiative aimed to equip journalists with the necessary skills and knowledge to accurately and sensitively report on the concerns and issues affecting the indigenous communities of Abuja.
